i) That the Executive Arm of Oyo State Government through the Directorate of Curriculum Department of the Ministry of Education and the State Universal Basic Education Board be urged to ensure that public and private schools abide by stipulated guidelines on recommended textbooks.
ii) That the Ministry of Education and the State Universal Basic Education Board should ensure uniformity of the recommended textbooks which will not be reviewed within a period of five years with a view to encouraging the culture of book inheritance among students, and
iii) That the under listed should be limited to appear before the house on Tuesday ,7th july,2015 at 10. 00am.so as to intimate the house with factors responsible for incessant review of textbooks in public and private schools in the state and proffer solutions on the way forward:
(a) That the permanent secretary and the director, curriculum development, ministry of education; and
(b) That the permanent secretary, state universal basic education Board
(i) That His Excellency, the Executive Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi should constitute the Governing councils of the two polytechnics, and
(ii)that His Excellency, the Executive Governor to urgently direct the governing councils so constituted to appoint rectors and other principal officers for both the Oke-ogun polytechnic, Saki and The ibarapa polytechnic Eruwa:
(i)That membership of House committees should spare across political parties that constitute the house and take recognizes of qualification and experiences of members:
(ii)That House Committee should be strengthened and funded to ensure their viability.
(iii)That the legislature should perform constitutional duty of oversight and legislative compliance to enhance good governance.
(iv)That there should be periodic retreat between the legislature and the Executive Arm of Government in order to brainstorm on the direction of policy and programme of Government.
(v)That to achieve report with their constituents and for effective feedback, town hall meetings, opening up of constituency offices, employment of suitably qualified legislative aides and press releases should be embarked upon my members the house.
(vi)That the non-adversarial method should be adopted by members of the legislative to settle their differences and:
(vii)That in order to execute functional and people-oriented projects and programme across the state members, of the legislature should be actively involved in budget conceptualization involving their constituents inclusive budgeting. TRANSLATED FROM YORUBA TO ENGLISH That all the (i) Heads of the Local Government and Chieftaincy wake up to their task more importantly those that their Local Government are in the area where their people are fond of spreading their food stuffs by the road side to stand up to their responsibility to those that are spreading their food stuffs by the road side.
ii) That Government should direct and control the Head of Local Government Area and Chief titles and town planning department to work together with Heads of Local Government to put a final stop to this act of spreading food stuffs on our roads side in Oyo State.
iii) That Government through the Head of Local Government and Chieftaincy mandating the Head of Local Government Area with the Head of Local Government to control the information section of every Local Government to start the programme that will point people to ways to spreading their food stuffs in a way that will not affect our health, so people will cultivate the habits of taking their food stuffs to places where Local Government should include in their yearly budget, places where people in their domain can be spreading their food stuffs.
iv) That the concerned Local Government should document the construction of concrete slab of where people will be spreading for drying their food products in their yearly budget.
i) That this Honourable House urge the State Road Traffic Management Authority (OYRTMA) and the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to control speed and recklessness on our roads.
ii) That this Honourable House urge the Director and officers, Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) to exercise restraint in the performance of their duties and should not be pursuing vehicles in reckless manner that can result in accidents.
iii) That this Honourable House: the following should be invited to the plenary sitting on Tuesday, 25th August 2015 at 10.00am
That this Honourable House urge the State Commissioner of Police to deploy competent crime-bursting police unit and the Operation Burst to help combat dastardly activities of criminal gangs across Oyo State.
ii) That this Honourable House urge the Governor of Oyo State to take proactive measures to promote police community efforts to stem the tide of gang violence in Oyo State at large.
iii) That this Honourable House urge the Governor of Oyo State to establish a task force comprising the Police, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Social workers and other relevant Stakeholders in a robust campaign to halt the proliferation of drugs and their consumption in Oyo State.
iv) That this Honourable House invite the Commissioner of Police to the Parliament Council Meeting on Tuesday, 25th August, 2015 to brief members on the ways to eradicate gang violence in Oyo State.
v) That this Honourable House urge Community and Religious leaders to sensitize and motivate their followers on the need to steer clear of gang violence in order to reduce the rate of criminality in the State.
vi) That this Honourable House urge the Executive Arm of Government through the Ministry of Justice to facilitate and re-present the Criminal Administration Bill for consideration by Oyo State House of Assembly in order to fast-track the administration of criminal Procedures in the State.
vii) That the Honourable House urge the judiciary to be more prompt in dispensing justice effectively towards erring gang members with a view to effecting deference among the populace.
i) That the Ministry of Local Government be urged to direct the Management of Local Governments (Heads of Local Government Administration, (HLAS) to constitute comprising farmers’ community leaders and Fulani Cattle rearers in affected Local Governments.
ii) That urge the Executive Arm of Government through the relevant agencies to periodically organize enlightenment programme which will involve the Fulani/Bororo cattle rearers and farmers in each Local Government
iii) That direct the Ministry of Local Government to instruct different Local Government officials to parley with Leaders of Fulani/Farmers Association on quarterly basis.
Iv) That the Head of Fulani/Bororo Cattle Rearers’ Association and Heads of Farmers Association in Oyo State in general and Oke-Ogun in particular should be invited to the plenary sitting of the House on Thursday, 3rd September, 2015 to proffer solution to Fulani/Bororo and Farmers crisis in the State.
v) That the Permanent Secretary and Director (Livestock), Ministry of Agriculture and the State Commissioner of Police should be invited to the Plenary Sitting of the House on Thursday, 3rd September, 2015 to proffer solutions to Fulani/Bororo and Farmers crisis in the State.
NEED FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC IN OYO STATE
i) That appeal to the Federal Government to put necessary machinery in motion for the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic in Oyo State for the purpose of equity, justice and fairness;
ii) That urge this Honourable House to liaise with National Assembly Members from the State to collectively pursue the demand for a Federal Polytechnic for Oyo State;
iii) That the Federal Ministry of Education should accord the establishment of a Federal Polytechnic in Oyo State the needed priority and also update the House in writing, developments on the subject matters
iv) That the print and electronic media should give:
a) The Federal Government should put necessary machinery in motion for the establishment of a federal polytechnic in Oyo State.

i) That the State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi should be urged to direct the Ministry of Works or the State Road Maintenance Agency to effect the rehabilitation of the Poly/Ijokodo Road.
ii) That the State Governor should be urged to continue to mobilize the Oyo State Road Maintenancy Agency (OYSROMA) to address repair/rehabilitation of roads in Oyo State.
